Watch: Mumbrella hangout with Indian creative luminary Agnello Dias

Mumbrella held a live video hangout with Indian creative luminary Agnello Dias.

The half-hour session, which ran on both Mumbrella’s Asian and Australian sites, quizzed Dias on the nature of creativity, how ideas can cross borders, scam and the best work he’s seen lately.

Dias is the founder of creative hotshop Taproot, which was one of the top 20 most awarded independent agencies at Cannes just three years after starting out. Last year, he was described by Fast Company magazine as “the most decorated and progressive adman in India”. 

Dias has since sold his agency to Japanese ad giant Dentsu.

Before starting Taproot, Dias had a distinguished spell at Leo Burnett India, which was named the network’s global agency of the year. During his time at JWT India, Dias was behind his country’s first grand prix at Cannes.
