Unruly launches in Singapore

A video marketing firm named Unruly has opened an office in Singapore.

Unruly Singapore is to officially open on 7 April, and more office openings are to follow around the region, the company says.

The expansion will be led by Unruly’s Europe MD Phil Townend, who relocates from London to Singapore.

The company’s founder and CEO Scott Button: “Singapore is a hub for the creative industry, offering a wealth of talented people, world-class infrastructure and access to rapidly growing markets. It’s the cornerstone of our rapid expansion plan in Asia.”

Unruly points out that while the average share rate for branded videos across the world is 1.31 per cent, across Asia it is 2.44 per cent.

“Many large brands are headquartered in Asia and it’s a massive growth market for many advertisers. I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to help brands take advantage of the exclusive reach and engagement which social video offers,” added Townend.

The Singapore launch is Unruly’s twelth office opening, adding to locations in London, New York, San Francisco, Hamburg and Paris.
