Dentsu Aegis moves iProspect’s Kevin Walsh to Carat to boost APAC digital capabilities

Dentsu Aegis media agency Carat has appointed Kevin Walsh to lead its digital operations in Asia, moving him from a leadership role within its digital agency iProspect.

Walsh takes on the role of chief digital officer for Carat Asia Pacific.

The move comes a week after iProspect moved two executives over from the UK to run the agency’s Asia operations.

In another internal move, Clay Schouest, head of strategy and innovation moves Shanghai to the regional head office in Singapore as head of strategy and innovation for Carat.

Sean O’Brien, CEO of Carat APAC, said: “As our business grows, we need to look at what our clients need and to deliver on that. Digital is ever evolving – in order to be real innovators we need the talent to support that.”

“Kevin has a vast amount of experience in digital having experienced first-hand the development of the digital media industry over the last decade.
