Zayn Khan joins Dragon Rouge as the brand agency launches in Southeast Asia

Zayn KahnZayn Khan, the former boss of Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia and Asia Pacific CEO of FutureBrand, has joined French brand agency network Dragon Rouge as Southeast Asia CEO.

His move marks the opening of a Southeast Asia presence for Dragon Rouge, which also has another Asian office in Shanghai.

The agency’s Paris-based group chief executive Jean-Baptiste Danet confirmed the news with Mumbrella. Zayn will report to Jonathan Chajet, Dragon Rouge’s Asia Pacific boss, and will be based in Singapore.

Chajet told Mumbrella: “As a design and innovation consultancy, our goal is to help clients inspire, change and grow their businesses and brands. Our full service offices in shanghai and Singapore are able to deliver a range of solutions for clients across Asia. We believe our unique combination of brand strategy, innovation and experiential design are a differentiator for clients who are looking for an integrated solution.”

Khan spent many years at Ogilvy & Mather in Malaysia, initially as a senior strategist before working his way up to managing director, then group MD.

In 2010, he moved to FutureBrand where – like his successor Sarah Reiter – he spent less than a year as regional head before moving on.
