Fleishman-Hillard digital integration chief Don Anderson moves to We Are Social

Don AndersonAfter just over a year and a half leading the digital integration agenda for PR agency Fleishman-Hillard in Asia Pacific, Don Anderson is leaving to join a social media marketing specialist.

The highly-regarded former journalist joined the Omnicom PR firm in October 2012 as SVP, regional strategic digital integration, from ESPN Star Sports, where he was responsible for integrated ad sales.

He is moving to We Are Social Singapore, Mumbrella understands. However neither the agency nor Anderson have commented on the move, nor what position he will be filling.

Omnicom confirmed, however, that Anderson was leaving and described the position as “critical” for the agency. It is unclear whether Omnicom has a replacement lined up.

Anderson was SVP and head of strategic digital integration for Fleishman-Hillard Asia Pacific, reporting to APAC president Lynne Anne Davis.

Before ESPN, he worked at Turner Entertainment Networks Asia on the company’s online ad sales and games business. He also led sales and marketing for CNN’s online travel property, CNNGo, and managed online marketing and communications for Hong Kong newspapers, South China Morning Post.
