Huntsworth PR announces staff changes

PR firm Huntsworth has announced two staff changes within its group, with the APAC MD of sibling agency Grayling, Bruce Shu, taking on the role of regional client services director for Huntsworth APAC, and Hoffman Dong Chen hired as MD of Grayling China.

Hong Kong, 30 May 2014 – Huntsworth plc, the global public relations and healthcare communications group, today announced that it is further boosting its strategic communications offering in Asia-Pacific with two new senior appointments.

Bruce Shu, currently Regional Managing Director, Grayling Asia-Pacific, will take up a newly created position as Regional Client Services Director, Huntsworth Asia-Pacific.

In his new role, Bruce will be responsible for service to key regional clients and manage the group’s “China Going Global” hub in collaboration with strategic partner Blue Focus. He will also oversee regional staff training and development in all Huntsworth companies in the region.

He will relocate from Hong Kong to Beijing.

Huntsworth also announced that Dong Chen has been appointed Managing Director, Grayling China. Dong was most recently with The Hoffman Agency, where he was General Manager for China. Based in Shanghai, Dong will be responsible for managing and continuing to grow Grayling’s operations in China.

Both Bruce and Dong will report into Huntsworth Asia-Pacific Chief Executive Officer, Chris Tang.
