Philippines Tourism launches new ad for ‘It’s More Fun In The Philippines’ campaign

A new ad for the Philippines Department of Tourism’s “It’s More Fun In The Philippines” campaign, with the capital Manila the focus of what is the third instalment of the series.

The campaign, created by BBDO Guerrero and which helped the agency win the gold at the Appies, began airing earlier this month. Previous commercials have highlighted Davao and Boracay as desirable destinations.

“Manila is a unique cultural experience for any traveller,” said David Guerrero, creative chairman at BBDO Guerrero, in a statement.

“From the 16th Century treasures of Intramuros to some of the 21st Century’s largest malls. We’ve tried to distill it into 30 seconds – but it’s best to come and see for yourself,” 

The campaign has had an approach which has seen them highlight specific destinations with this latest instalment highlighting Manila as a city with bargains, a plethora of shopping malls, interesting food and a variety of historically and culturally significant landmarks.

Lyle Sacris of Pabrika shot the commercial. The soundtrack was done by indie band, Paloma.
