Samsung wins two Product Design Lions

Asia converted two out of nine shortlisted entries in the Product Design Lions at Cannes, both going to Samsung.

The Korean electronics giant won one for ‘Food showcase’, the other for Samsung Galaxy Core Advance.

The other Asian finalists, Ogilvy Beijing’s ‘Second life caps’ idea for Coca-Cola in Vietnam and DDB DM9 JaymeSyfu’s pocket fire extinguishers, did not convert into metal.

The Grand Prix went to the Netherlands with ‘Raw for the Oceans’ for G-Star Raw.
