Havas Worldwide hires Wunderman/Agenda’s Sunny Hermano for regional role



Havas Worldwide has hired Wunderman/Agenda China’s general manager Sunny Hermano to be its business development & integration director for Southeast Asia.

Hermano is industry veteran who joins Havas in a newly created role working alongside the Havas COO, Levent Guenes. He will report to Juan Rocamora, chairman of Havas Worldwide Asia Pacific and will move from Shanghai, China to Bangkok, Thailand.

“With a solid track record of leadership excellence, sharp business acumen, and expertise in digital services, I believe Sunny is a great asset to further develop our regional footprint,”  said Juan Rocamora.

We are moving to the next phase of growth and he’s just the man for the job to drive positive change for Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia.”

Hermano has held a number of senior positions in markets in the USA and Asia, including Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and China, and has worked on major brands including Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Citibank, ANZ Bank, BMW, Honda, IBM, Visa, Levi’s and Unilever. Most recently he was general manager of digital agency Wunderman/Agenda Shanghai.

The appointment comes on the same day as the group’s media agency Havas Media announces the appointment of Pranay Shah Singh as head of strategy for Indonesia. He will report jointly to SK Biswas, chief strategy officer of Havas Media Group APAC and Riadi Sugihtani, CEO of Havas Media Group Indonesia.

“In addition to his media expertise, Pranay brings with him a lateral thinking approach to consumer insights, branding and business issues that connects well with the Meaningful Brands approach at Havas Media Group.
