Hong Kong ad awards Kam Fan says ‘It’s all about cans’ to mark 30th anniversary

It's all about cans Kam Fan AwardsHong Kong ad awards show Kam Fan is running a campaign that uses the slogan ‘It’s all about cans, not can’ts’ to promote this year’s event, which is the 30th in its history.

The creative aims to celebrate the breaking down of convention, and was created by Leo Burnett, the winner of last year’s Grand Kam Fan, the top honour awarded.

The awards, which are organised by the HK4As, have also announced the line-up of judges, with the likes of Isobar regional ECD Graham Kelly sitting on the creative and digital panel, and Yvonne Tang, the marketing director of McDonald’s Hong Kong, a judge for the media category.

The creative jury is being led by Akira Kagami ECD of Japan’s Drill Inc.

The call for entries is open from now until 3 September. There will be two rounds of judging from October to November. The awards take place on 28 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
