Land Rover hires Y&R ahead of Southeast Asia ad push

Ad agency Y&R has reported winning the Land Rover account as the brand prepares for a push into Southeast Asia.

Y&R is the first creative agency the Tata Motors owned brand has hired in the sub-region.

The announcement:

SINGAPORE, July 2014 – Y&R Singapore has been appointed as the Agency of Record for Land Rover as the luxury SUV brand readies for a significant brand push into Southeast Asia.

The world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel drive vehicles, Land Rover is looking to increase its brand presence in Singapore and the region.

Y&R Singapore will be responsible for the development and management of Land Rover’s marketing communications over multiple touchpoints including TV, print, digital engagement, activation, direct marketing and related collaterals.

Commenting on the appointment, Russell M Anderson, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Asia Pacific Importers said, “The objective is to reach out and tap the vast potential that Asia offers to the Land Rover marque.
