Hakuhodo strikes deal with ad tech firm WingArc1st

Japanese ad agency network Hakuhodo has announced a strategic marketing partnership with WingArc1st Inc.

Hakuhodo DY Holdings Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; Hirokazu Toda, President & CEO) has entered a business collaboration agreement with WingArc1st Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Hiroyuki Uchino, President & CEO) to jointly develop marketing solutions on an ongoing basis.

As marketers increasingly look to use and utilize sei-katsu-sha1 data in their marketing activities, the Hakuhodo DY Group has announced strengthening sei-katsu-sha data-driven marketing response capabilities as a growth driver in its new Medium-Term Business Plan. The business collaboration agreement with WingArc1st, which boasts advanced technologies and system development capabilities including data visualization in the field of business intelligence, is one initiative in this endeavor.

By combining the Hakuhodo DY Group’s marketing planning strengths and communication know-how with WingArc1st’s sophisticated technological expertise and system development strength, it now becomes possible to quickly develop and provide high-quality marketing solutions that utilize sei-katsu-sha data.

The first product jointly developed by the companies since they entered the collaboration agreement is Vision-Graphics™ powered by MotionBoard, a cloud-based dashboard that supports clients’ marketing PDCA cycles.

Provision of the service begins today.

Vision-Graphics™, which has been offered by the Hakuhodo DY Group since 2010, is a tool for structuring sei-katsu-sha information behavior from contact with information through to purchase/conversion by consolidating various kinds of marketing data and visualizing relationships within it. The new addition to the Vision-Graphics™ lineup adds visceral expression and a rich array of analytical functions, and shortens installation time with cloud environment compatibility.

Vision-Graphics™ powered by MotionBoard will become fully operational in September 2014, and will be offered to clients by Hakuhodo, Daiko, Yomiko and other Group operating companies in due course.
