MTV launches music documentary The Ride

The RideMTV has announced the launch of a new music documentary series The Ride.

The series starts in Asia on the first Thursday of October.

The announcement:

SINGAPORE, 4 SEPTEMBER 2014 – MTV today announces the premiere of new documentary series The Ride, which will give fans intimate access to some of the biggest names in music. Produced by Storyville Entertainment, The Ride is set to air as an 8 x 60 minute series across MTV channels internationally. In Asia, the series will premiere on Thursday, 2 October at 7.30pm (WIB), 8.30pm (SG) and 9.30pm (MAL).

Taking an in-depth look at the career of a different artist or group in every hour-long episode, The Ride will document the key moments in their careers culminating in what they regard as their most transformative, break-through moment.
Harnessing MTV’s unparalleled access to the world’s biggest musical stars and building on its track record of world-class music documentaries, The Ride will go in-depth with artists including:
– Enrique Iglesias on Thursday, 2 October

– Linkin Park on Thursday, 9 October

– Jennifer Hudson on Thursday, 16 October

– Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on Thursday, 23 October

– Demi Lovato on Thursday, 30 October

– Snoop Dogg on Thursday, 13 November

– TI on Thursday, 20 November

– Jessie J on Thursday, 27 November
