Paragon mall unveils Christmas promotions
Luxury Singapore mall Paragon has unveiled a series of promotions and events to lure shoppers for the Christmas season.
The Singapore Press Holdings-owned mall, which launched a controversial creative tender to find an a promotions agency in September, has also unveiled its Christmas décor, which includes a 40-feet high Christmas tree and “glimmering reindeers”.
The upmarket mall says its festive look “marries both tradition and elegance, creating perfect photo opportunities for all.”
“Paragon’s grand display of the magical 40 feet Christmas tree at the main entrance and the cascading swirls of ribbons at the atriums will definitely warm your heart with Christmas Magic,” the company says in a press release.
The mall is offering promotions for Citibank and MasterCard credit card holders, which include a free Etro pouch worth $450 for Citibank card members who spend $16,000, and a free Da Paolo Gastronomia red velvet log cake for Citi Paragon World MasterCard members who spend $1,500.
The offers are valid until 28 December.
Events include live performances throughout the week from the likes of Carlos Sendros and Elisa Garcia.
Shoppers who vote for Paragon in the ‘Orchard Road Best Dressed Building Contest’ could win Paragon shopping vouchers. To win, shoppers need to download Orchard Road’s mobile app.
Three shoppers with the best Paragon Christmas décor photos, using the #paragonxmasmagic hashtag, can win a wooden musical box.
While profit from SPH’s newspapers and magazines division fell 16 per cent in the company’s year-end report, announced in October, profit from the company’s property arm, which includes Paragon mall, rose seven per cent.
