Singapore Press Holdings appoints display sales chief Elsie Chua as head of marketing

Elsie ChuaSingapore Press Holdings has a new head of marketing following a corporate restructure.

The publisher’s head of display ad sales Elsie Chua has shifted to the marketing top job in place of Leslie Fong, who retains a senior executive role but has gone part-time. Fong will continue to have a hand in acquisitions and joint ventures at the company.

Tan Ooi Boon, SPH’s head of print classified sales, has moved into a new role as deputy head of the marketing division. He will also run the integrated sales and classified advertising departments.

SPH CEO Alan Chan said: “The restructuring of Marketing Division demonstrates SPH’s commitment to a proper and orderly succession within the Company. It also ensures better focus by the Marketing and Digital divisions in their areas of specialisation and assures our stakeholders that their needs will be effectively served”.
