Grey China ECD Yue Chee Guan leaves after a decade of service

The national executive creative director of Grey China has left the advertising agency after just short of a decade of service.

Yue Chee Guan joined Grey China in May 2005 and moves on to “pursue a different career path”, the agency has stated in a press release.

In his career, he was worked at BBDO Shanghai, Lowe Singapore and M&C Saatchi Singapore. He joined Grey after a stint at 10AM Communications.

Meanwhile, Grey’s Beijing office has hired Alvin Lim as its executive creative director.

The 39 year-old Singaporean joins the agency from FCB Shanghai, where he was deputy creative director for a short stint while the agency underwent management changes.

Lim is known for campaigns including “It’s in our nature” for Shangri-La, “Different Points of Value” for HSBC and “Old Parts for New” for Orbis.
