SingTel pitches media

SingTelSingTel, one of Asia’s largest telcos, is looking for a new agency to handle its media planning and buying across all of its brands in Singapore.

The company has issued an open tender on its website, so all media agencies in Singapore with non-conflicting business can go for the account.

SingTel’s incumbent media agency is GroupM agency MEC.

The closing date for applications is 23 December at 3pm, and the review is expected to be concluded within 12 weeks.

Shortlisted agencies will work with SingTel on chemistry workships, then a shortlist of three contenders drawn up before final presentations.

The pitch, full details for which can be read here, will be managed by R3. The point of contact for agencies is R3’s senior consultant Adeline Lee.

The review does not include SingTel’s relationship with its creative agency Ogilvy, which won the account from BBDO earlier this year.
