Digi unveils brand makeover
Malaysian telco Digi Telecommunications has unveiled a refreshed brand today, just a day after Singaporean telco Singtel launched a new look of its own.
The visual identity makeover, which sees a tilt removed from the logo and the slogan ‘Always the smarter choice’ replaced with ‘Let’s inspire’, was the result of nine months of work with branding agency Dragon Rouge.
Zayn Khan, CEO Dragon Rouge Southeast Asia, said: “Digi have been an amazing client to work with. They were thorough and decisive in their thinking and very collaborative in their approach – it felt like a true partnership. There were several strategic and design challenges that the re-brand had to address, and we resolved them all without compromise.”
“Dragon Rouge helped Digi to cut a clear line through the data complexity and land on an inspiring direction for the brand that synchs with Digi’s business vision, will better engage its target consumers and will stand out in a super competitive marketplace,” he added.
