Paul Soon joins Possible as APAC CEO as Kenny Powar departs

Paul SoonWPP digital agency Possible has a new Asia Pacific CEO, with the highly regarded Singaporean Paul Soon taking on the top job.

Soon made a surprise departure from XM, where he spent a decade, at the end of last year.

He takes over from Kenny Powar who leaves “to pursue new opportunities.”

POSSIBLE has today announced the appointment of Paul Soon as Chief Executive Officer for POSSIBLE in Asia-Pacific, succeeding Kenny Powar who will depart to pursue new opportunities.

Kenny helped build POSSIBLE (formerly Blue Interactive) over the past 14 years from a small Singapore start-up into one of the region’s leading agencies, with a team of nearly 200 digital specialists, servicing some of the world’s leading brands including SAP, Starwood Hotels, Nike, Dow Corning, Estee Lauder, Diageo and Brocade.

Paul comes on board in March 2015, bringing great APAC leadership experience after spending the past decade at XM Asia Pacific, including the last four years as their APAC CEO.  During his time at XM, Paul built a great team of over 600 people across seven markets and grew the company into a truly regional digital agency, including expansion through organic growth and acquisitions in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam.

At XM Paul worked with a range of renowned brands such as Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Economic Board, Nokia, Nike, SAP, HSBC, Malaysia Airlines, Maxis, HP, Visa and MasterCard.
