Ronald Ng joins DigitasLBi North America as chief creative officer

Ronald NgRonald Ng, who resigned from BBDO Singapore at the end of last year, has emerged in a role in the US running the creative department of Publicis Groupe digital agency DigitasLBi.

Ng takes on the role of chief creative officer for six offices in North America, the agency’s largest region.

He will be based in New York, and will report to Tony Weisman, CEO of DigitasLBi North America, and will work alongside Chris Clarke, CCO for DigitasLBi International.

The Malaysian is known for his work for ‘Two worlds’ print campaign for Jeep, which has been inducted into the Clio Awards’ Hall of Fame, and a series for Guinness Singapore, which was the most awarded print ad of last year, despite only running once in a free listings magazine.

Weisman said in a statement: “Ronald is a seasoned leader and a creative force to be reckoned with. You can see his ingenuity and passion in every piece of work that he does. He’s been rightly recognized by the industry numerous times for driving innovative, cross-channel programs, and his creative leadership inspires both teams and clients. We’re thrilled to have him onboard.”
