Starcom wins Cerebos Malaysia media from UM

Brands CerebosStarcom MediaVest Group has won a media pitch for Cerebos in Malaysia, taking on the business from incumbent UM.

The media agency will handle on- and offline media planning and buying for the maker of Brand’s Essence of Chicken and InnerShine Prune Extract, including some social media for select brands within the portfolio.

Wong Pi Yee, MD at VivaKi Malaysia, the investment arm of Starcom, said in a statement: “SMG’s digital capabilities, further boosted by social and performance divisions, is what Cerebos was looking to build rapport with the modern savvy consumer. At the core, SMG’s future-focused approach resonates with Cerebos’ vision of being a sustainable company immune to cyclical changes.”
