Steve Back, the former creative director of Singapore’s largest agency, Ogilvy, has re-emerged at a 18 month-old Australian agency called Joy.

Back, who left Ogilvy Singapore in January 2013 after a two-year spell to move to Ogilvy in Australian, has landed the role of creative partner.

He will join a management team that includes Graeme Wills, the former boss of Publicis Mojo, Simon Rush and Andrew Wynne.

Back will team up with fellow creative Simon Ludowyke, who joined 12 months ago from BBH New York.

Joy was formerly known as US, and is part of independent agency group Razor. The agency used to have an office in Singapore until a few years ago, from where it serviced client Marina Bay Sands.
