Heineken launches global Champions League campaign

Heineken has launched a global campaign around its sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League football tournament.

The 90 second spot is set on a cargo ship whose crew are desperate to watch a football match.

The agency behind the campaign was Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam.

Heineken’s sponsorship of the tournament, which is widely viewed in Asia, is to run until the 2017/18 season.
