James Hawkins handed expanded role running Dentsu Aegis’ digital arsenal as agency finalises post-merger Southeast Asia leadership

James Hawkins, the managing director of Singapore digital agency Dentsu Möbius, has been handed a bigger role running Dentsu’s digital capabilities for the Dentsu Aegis network in South and Southeast Asia.

News emerged of Hawkins’ move into a bigger role in December last year, but the agency repeatedly denied it was happening.

The network has made some other job title changes following the move to create a single P&L in each market in Southeast Asia, after the merger of Dentsu and Aegis.

Dentsu Singapore boss Rosalynn Tay is now CEO of Dentsu Aegis Singapore. Audrey Kuah, the CEO of Aegis Media Singapore, is now chief client officer for Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia. Her focus is on client development for non-Japanese clients.

The changes complete the process of creating a single management structure across all APAC markets.
