London-based production company Studio Rarekind has opened an office in Singapore, promising to bring its own brand of “raw edginess” to the market.

Studio Rarekind, which already has an office in Bangkok as well as its London homebase, will be run in Singapore by creative producer Angelina Lourdes, who has joined from Kult3D, and Ryo Sanada and Shaz, who have worked for the company in other markets.

Among its foundation clients is adidas, for which the company produced the ‘all in for #mygirls’ campaign in Southeast Asia last year.

Lourdes told Mumbrella today that her team wants to bring its experiences together to offer the “raw edginess” Studio Rarekind has become known for.

However, Lourdes said that the firm is prepared to work with a brief. “We’re not about forcing a style down anyone’s throat,” she said. “It’s about bringing different perspectives into the picture.”

The studio is known for its Stickerbomb books – collectable, peelable sticker book series featuring illustration, graffiti and graphics – and documentaries. It has also produced notable work for Nike and Tiger.

Studio Rarekind’s offices will be located on Emily Hill, Little India.
