Weber Shandwick parts ways with Dilip Yadav after 20 years as Shashikant Someshwar joins to lead Creation India

Creation, a sister company to PR network Weber Shandwick, has appointed Shashikant Someshwar to run its Indian operation.

He replaces Dilip Yadav who is leaving “to pursue personal interests”, according to the agency, after 20 years of service. Yadav, who has a newspaper background, joined Weber Shandwick in the 1990s as a senior account manager.

Based in New Delhi, Someshwar joins from Perfect Relations where he was president with a brief to accelerate growth across the country including in Mumbai and Bangalore. He lead a team of 30 consultants.

Creation is on a high-growth trajectory globally, with client work now being delivered across more than 30 offices around the world.
