DBS sponsors Straits Times e-book to remember week of mourning for Lee Kuan Yew

Lee Kuan Yew e-booksSingapore national newspaper the Straits Times has launched an e-book to remember the funeral and national period of mourning for late prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, who died on 23 March.

The e-book, which is free to download, has been sponsored by DBS bank. Called Lee Kuan Yew: The Final Journey, it contains 100 images from the seven days of national mourning.

Another commemorate e-book from the Straits Times, called Lee Kuan Yew: The Man And His Ideas, features audio and exclusive photos, and was written by ST journalists Han Fook Kwang, Warren Fernandez and Sumiko Tan.

The e-books can be accessed by clicking this link and through iTunes.

During the week of mourning the Straits Times website was cleared of all ads, and most outdoor digital signage across the island was cleared of ads to carry commemorative images of LKY.
