Singapore-headquartered ad agency The Methodology Works Asia has quietly closed its Hong Kong operation.

TMW Asia‘s Hong Kong staff have all left the agency, Mumbrella understands, after the company went into insolvency.

Leading TMW Asia’s Hong Kong office was Sean Badlishah, a founding partner of the Singapore-based agency that launched three years ago.

An agency staffer confirmed the news, but TMW’s management have not responded to Mumbrella’s questions about the reasons for the closure and the consequences for former staff, clients and partners.

The news emerges just a month after TMW announced two senior hires in Singapore, bringing in Alfred Wee as ECD and Sabrina Tan as business director.

TMW Asia’s clients in Hong Kong have included the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
