CtrlShift, an Asian digital marketing firm formed from a three-way merger at the start of the year, has announced hiring for two new positions – head of product and head of client success.
Joining the company as head of product, with a brief to create programmatic solutions for advertisers and publishers, is Serm Teck Choon from Star Online. He is credited with the launch of the Malaysian audience measurement currency, as head of measurement and audit at the Malaysian Digital Association.
Ikmal Heidir, a former Ogilvy, J. Walter Thompson and Lowe account director, has joined the company as head of client success.
Mohan Mahapatra, head of people and culture at CtrlShift, said: “Serm and Ikmal are well-known industry heroes and we are glad to have brought them on board. Their wealth of experience and specialised knowledge will enable CtrlShift to deliver even greater results for our clients. When you are a high-growth company, being a magnet for great talent and creating a strong culture is an absolute must. Today, we are an even stronger team and we are pleased with our ability to attract the top guns.”
The newly formed company, which has 130 staff and offices in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines, stated in the media release that it aims to expand by more than 50 per cent this year.
CtrlShift was formed from the merger of AdzCentral, Better Digital and Asia Digital Ventures in January.
