Singapore Tourism Board launches more new deals to bring in overseas visitors for SG50
Singapore’s tourism department has launched a new wave of deals to bring in overseas visitors for its fiftieth birthday celebrations.
The deals, which are listed on STB’s website, include discounted airfares, deals on accommodation and special offers for attractions such as Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, and Mint Museum of Toys.
Hotels such as Four Seasons, Hilton, Concorde and Mandarin Orchard are offering a third night for free for two-night stayers.
The promotions, which involve 40 different stakeholders in Singapore’s key target markets, are part of STB’s $20 million campaign to revive tourism numbers, which have fallen in the first two quarters of the year.
The news emerges the week after Hong Kong’s tourism bureau announced a raft of special promotions as part of its summer ‘Shop, eat, play’ campaign, including a “Return to Hong Kong like a Millionaire” grand draw.
