The agency behind campaigns such as ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines’ for the Department of Tourism and ‘Labels Against Women’ for Pantene won the accolade across criteria including market performance, management of business, industry leadership and community service.

DM9 was named the best agency for creative, Ogilvy for digital and Leo Burnett for market performance.

The win comes soon after BBDO Guerrero was named AOY at the Kidlat Awards.

Francine Gonzalez, the agency’s MD, said: “The industry is becoming increasingly challenging. So to be recognised as 4A’s Agency of the Year is truly an achievement as it represents excellence in all aspects. We are very proud of this result — and even prouder of our people for this accomplishment.”

BBDO Guerrero creative chairman David Guerrero added: “As the 4As says ‘This is the award that really matters’ so we are very happy to have done well in it. We would also like to thank our clients and production partners for helping to make it all possible. We will take inspiration from it for the coming year.”
