Effective Measure appoints Maria Rodriguez Java as Southeast Asia head

Audience measurement firm Effective Measure has appointed Maria Rodriguez Java as regional business director for Southeast Asia.

Singapore, 2 July, 2015– Effective Measure (EM), the digital audience measurement and data intelligence solutions provider, announced today that Maria Rodriguez Java has rejoined the company, taking over the helm for their South East Asian (SEA) market, as Regional Business Director.

Returning to Effective Measure, Maria brings with her 15 years of digital marketing practice, having served strategic digital roles within the agency, brand and publishing sectors. Previously, Maria served as Effective Measure’s Country Managing Director for the Philippines in 2012 and 2013.

In this new role, Maria is tasked with growing the data intelligence market in South East Asia.

“As demands in the South East Asian market rapidly evolve, Effective Measure is making sure that our team in the region have the strategic overview yet possess the unique acumen to respond to country-specific markets more effectively. We are excited to have Maria back on board as she will bring exactly this expertise to South East Asia,” said Dinesh Arasaratnam, Effective Measure’s Chief Revenue Officer.

An influential speaker with a knack for humanizing the analytical, Java is known for her maverick entrepreneurial approach to business management. Having rejoined EM at the start of June, 2015, Java is focusing on creating strategic partnerships around the current drive of programmatic and cross device integration.

“ASEAN countries like Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand all have different priorities and consumer trends. Effective Measure’s forte has always been the facility to capture the nuances across consumer profiles and highlight opportunities for brands to deliver meaningful, relevant messaging,” Java said.
