Esso celebrates Singapore’s food heritage with ‘wok down memory lane’ SG50 campaign

The Way it used to Bee HoonEsso is sponsoring a culinary event in Singapore as part of a campaign to show how the oil giant has “fuelled” the country’s passion for food over the last 50 years.

The Singapore Favourite Food Village is a “wok down memory lane” to showcase the country’s diversity of cuisine which, the company says, has been made possible by the “steady blue flame” that Esso LPG provides. The event is being held in Clark Quay.

As part of the campaign, Esso has launched a short film – created by BBDO Singapore – in which an Esso deliveryman forms a bond with a grandmother who is raising her two grandchildren.

The film is running on a Singapore Favourite Food website and in social media.
