KFC’s red hot chicken – for Singapore’s sweaters, snifflers, slurpers and weepers
KFC has launched a new campaign in Singapore for the “sweaters, snifflers, slurpers and weepers” who are overpowered by its Red Hot Chicken.
The ad, which features a number of young Singaporeans in various phases of heat-induced discomfort, ends with a young man being egged on to eat a piece on spicy chicken by his friends.
The agency behind the ad was Ogilvy, which won the business from independent firm Renn Partnership in February.
Ogilvy’s first campaign for KFC, ‘So shiok, so good’, came in March.
Could have been great but they settled for mediocre…..how often do you get a chance to do a spoof of a corporate manifesto? Man, what a wasted opportunity.
