Indian agency giant Lowe Lintas, now officially known as Mullen Lowe Lintas Group following the merger of American agency Mullen with Lowe, has named Virat Tandon as CEO of its new agency brand Mullen Lintas.

Virat returns to India after a three-year stint with Lowe in Singapore where he was global business director for the Unilever brands Lifebuoy and Fair & Lovely.

The chief creative director of Mullen Lintas is Amer Jaleel, who also takes on the role of chairman.

Shriram Iyer joins the agency as national creative director. He was previously ECD at Lowe Lintas in Delhi.

India, Lowe’s largest and most high-profile operation, is the first market in Asia Pacific to change its name to include Mullen.

Other Lowe offices in APAC are to follow later in the year, the network’s global chief growth officer Naomi Troni has said.
