A new sports and entertainment agency has launched in Singapore called Mongoose.

Part of British agency firm the Mission Marketing Group, Mongoose, which negotiates and manages sponsorship and events deals for B2B and B2C clients, opens in Singapore led by Poppy Robinson.

Robinson has been appointed in a dual role as regional director for Mongoose, as well as her existing position of APAC regional director of Bray Leino Singapore, which is part of Mission Marketing Group. The company says it has immediate plans to hire more people locally.

Globally, the company is led by CEO Chris O’Donoghue, who is based in Mongoose’s other international office in London.

O’Donoghue said: “A Mongoose is nimble, agile, and tenacious, the perfect characteristics to describe our new Agency and vision. In short, the Mongoose philosophy is to out think, out wit and out play the competition and we look forward to performing in this way for our valued Clients in the years to come.”

The company’s clients in the UK include the London Triathlon, AJ Bell; Chestertons Polo in the Park and Thomson Reuters. Mongoose Singapore will be working with Thomson Reuters sponsorship and events team globally on sports such as tennis and rugby, which will include activity in Singapore.
