Starcom Singapore wins government media accounts IDA and LTA

Starcom has landed two large government accounts in Singapore, winning pitches for both the Infocomm Development Authority and the Land Transport Authority.

The announcement:

Singapore, July 6 2015 – Starcom MediaVest Group has won the media business for The Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).

Land Transport Authority (LTA) appointed SMG through Pico Art International where SMG joined forces with the creative agency.

SMG’s remit is to plan both IDA’s and LTA’s offline and online media buying and planning.

There was a pitch for both businesses.

“We were appointed for our servicing team’s expertise, together with our insights and ideas which are SMG’s strengths. This partnership with both government entities, I believe, will ignite more opportunities with the organisations,” said Alison Song, Executive Director at SMG Singapore.

IDA actively supports the growth of innovative technology companies and start-ups in Singapore, works with leading global IT companies, and develops excellent information technology and telecommunications infrastructure, policies and capabilities for Singapore.

LTA is responsible for planning, operating, and maintaining Singapore’s land transport infrastructure and systems.
