Zeno hires Tony Ray Pereira as Singapore ECD

Tony Ray PereiraPR and content agency Zeno Group has appointed its first creative head for the Singapore office.

Tony Ray Pereira joins the agency as Singapore ECD after a period freelancing for agencies including Leo Burnett, TBWA and Possible. He was formerly ECD of Dentsu in Singapore and Indonesia.

Pereira will report to Jeremy Seow, MD of Zeno Group Singapore, and work on clients including Audi, Intel, Asus, Far East Hospitality, Gardasil, Zostavax, Veeam and Toshiba.

Seow commented: “Zeno Singapore has been working towards being a leading content marketing agency on a global scale. Tony will be able to build on our existing infrastructure in this office, tap on our various virtual content centres of excellence and partner up with our content amplification team to deliver on that promise. I’m delighted to have Tony’s help in achieving this vision, while continuing our commitment to nurture and promote local talent in order to deliver on work that is internationally recognised yet locally compelling.”

Over his career, Pereira has won awards at the Creative Circle Awards, The One Show, the Clio Awards, the Art Director’s Club of New York, the London International Awards, the New York Festivals and Adfest for brands such as Canon, UPS, Nestle, Motorola and Association of Women for Action and Research.

Pereira added: “Not only does Zeno constantly produce highly insightful and compelling work for its clients, its broad capabilities extend beyond just campaign planning to include media strategy and planning. As an organisation, the firm is highly collaborative and nimble – I believe its structure of building regional centres of excellence for technology, editorial and amplification sets it apart as an agency built for the future. Definitely exciting times ahead for me.”

Zeno scrapped its regional ECD role in favour of a local approach after the departure of Kestrel Lee a year ago.
