Havas Media APAC MD Stuart Clark joins IPG Mediabrands with remit to bring ‘daring stance’

Stuart ClarkIPG Mediabrands has appointed Havas Media International Asia Pacific managing director Stuart Clark as its client managing partner for the APAC region.

Clark will work with Mediabrands’ global and regional clients which include Hershey’s, Coca-Cola, ExxonMobil, Sony and Chrysler with a remit to drive their business growth in the region.

IPG Mediabrands World Markets Asia president Prashant Kumar said Clark will bring a “daring and dynamic stance to our clients”.

Clark joins IPG Mediabrands after more than 14 years with Havas, the last four leading Havas Media International in Singapore.

He was previously at MPG International in London where he was a director for six years before relocating to Singapore as their managing director and country head in 2007.

Clark was then promoted to regional head of Middle Office in 2011 and International MD, APAC overseeing regional and global clients including Hyundai Kia, AXA, LG, Shangri-La Hotels and Emirates.

Clark, who will report to Kumar, said: “Mediabrands is a really dynamic company with great people and ambitious growth plans in the region.
