Man travels 8 countries in 10 days in spoof video for travel site Skiddoo

Skiddoo, a travel website, has launched a campaign to raise brand awareness in Singapore.

The campaign is based on the insight that showing beautiful pictures of foreign countries really only sparks travel envy and not actual action to travel, and so Skiddoo – with help from guerrilla marketing firm Ministry of Funny – created a video that apparently shows a man traveling across eight countries in 10 days.

The message behind the campaign is that the experience of travel can’t be faked, so go out and see the world.

The official launch of Skiddoo is earmarked for early next year.
