MediaCorp brings down axe on FHM Singapore

FHMThe September issue of FHM Singapore will be its last, the magazine’s publisher MediaCorp has confirmed.

The company said its closure was part of a drive to refocus its portfolio of Men’s products – including online magazines and events – on fitness, fashion, style advice and entertainment.

“Closing a title is never easy, but the media world is constantly evolving and the media-consumption habits of men have changed over the years,” MediaCorp head of men, women and parents customer groups Ms Jessie Sng said.

“We thank our Singapore FHM readers for their support in the last 10 years,”

The passing of FHM drew a largely positive reaction on its local Facebook page, with few posts lamenting its demise.
