Thai advertising agency nudeJEH to rebrand as GREYnJ United following acquisition by WPP

nudeWPP-owned Grey Group has struck a deal to acquire Thailand-based advertising and digital agency, nudeJEH, with the business to rebrand as GREYnJ United.

The acquisition is in line with WPP’s goal to grow its digital revenue to between 40 per cent and 45 per cent of total revenue within five years.

Digital generated US$6.9 million in 2014, 36% of WPP’s total revenues of US$19 billion.

NudeJEH was founded in 2011 through the merger of Nude Communication and JEH United, and provides creative, branding, strategy consultation, web design and production services.

Key clients include Ananda Development, Bangkok Airways, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services, Bio Consumer, Tesco Lotus and Puriku.

The company also owns digital agency Nine Dotz.

Combined revenues for nudeJEH and Nine Dotz in the 2014 calendar year were THB 239 million with gross assets of THB 123 million. NudeJEH employs more than 60 people.

WPP’s Thai operations are a relatively small contributor to its wider Asia Pacific business with revenues of US$150 million and a workforce of 2000,

Across Asia Pacific, WPP generate revenues of US$5 billion and employs around 50,000 people.
