McCann’s Jane Fraser replaces Louise Upperton as TBWA’s APAC comms chief

TBWA has hired McCann’s experienced APAC communications chief Jane Fraser to lead the agency’s comms efforts in the region.

Fraser, who worked at Leo Burnett and Ogilvy before joining McCann in 2011, replaces Louise Upperton, who is leaving TBWA and Asia to move to a job in the US.

The Australian will report to TBWA’s regional head Philip Brett and will also be a member of the global PR and communications team for network.

SINGAPORE – Friday October 23, 2015TBWA has today announced the appointment of Jane Fraser as Regional Director of Marketing and Communications for Asia-Pacific.

Jane brings a wealth of corporate communications experience, having previously worked at McCann Worldgroup, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett.

Based in Singapore, Jane will lead the development and implementation of communications strategy for TBWA’s offerings across Asia-Pacific. She will report to Philip Brett, President of Asia, and will also be a member of the Global PR and Communications team for the TBWA Group Network.

“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Jane on board,” said Brett. “She brings a huge amount of experience and expertise to the role, and I cannot wait to have her lead the team in APAC, championing Disruption® across the region.”

Fraser replaces Louise Upperton who leaves to pursue opportunities in North America.

“Louise has done an outstanding job for the TBWA network over the past six years in building our reputation across Asia-Pacific,” added Brett. “I would like to thank her for her contribution, and she leaves with our very best wishes.”
