Mirum Singapore appoints Caitlin Nguyen as GM

Caitlin NguyenDigital agency Mirum has appointed a new general manager in Singapore.

Caitlin Nguyen joins the J. Walter Thompson-aligned agency from Omni Marketing Group Asia, where she was regional business director.

She will report to Rueben Anthony, Mirum Singapore’s MD and head of the agency’s regional digital transformation and consulting unit.

Anthony was appointed to lead the consultancy business by new CEO Nanda Ivens after the departure of Vince Liu at the start of the year, and Nguyen joining will free him up to focus more on the consultancy business.

Her appointment comes five months after the agency’s chief operating officer Gerard Lim moved on, joining Spring Singapore six months after the formation of Mirum, which was previously known as XM Asia.

Ivens described Nguyen in a press release as “a dynamic leader with an innate ability to connect and engage with everyone she works with.” She brings to life “the spirit of curiosity and collaboration that defines what Mirum is all about,” he said.

Nguyen has 18 years experience working across Asia, Europe, and the Americas with clients including Coca Cola, Renault, Sony, Dockers, EuroDisney, BAT, Dairy Farm, GlaxoSmithKline, Message Systems, ShoreTel, and Deezer.

Her previous roles include relationship marketing manager, Dockers EMEA, research manager for AC Nielsen in Vietnam and founder and owner of fashion lifestyle brand Perfume River LLC in New York.
