Twitter revamps school for agencies

Twitter has revamped a course for how agencies can best use the platform.

The announcement:

Singapore, 1 October 2015 – With close to 10,000 global registrants of Twitter Flight School, Twitter is excited to announce a completely redesigned experience to help agencies build expertise with the company’s real-time marketing capabilities.

“Agency education is a global priority to increase understanding of how brands and businesses can use Twitter more effectively to reach and engage with customers.Twitter Flight School is now more interactive, featuring our most recent Twitter products like video — all tailored to your job-specific needs,” says Parminder Singh, Managing Director for SEA, India & MENA, at Twitter.

A more customized way to build expertise

Whether media planner, buyer, account director or executive, participants will learn the things that matter most for their roles. They will be presented with scenario-based exercises, with coaching tips on everything – from how to build a media plan for a direct response initiative to optimizing a brand awareness campaign, and be immersed in real-life situations.

Exclusive content you can put into practical use

In addition to custom “Flight Paths,” Twitter will be launching advanced courses and content to increase participants’ Twitter product knowledge, and help them develop the daily skills they need to successfully consult brands and win new business. Enrolling in Twitter Flight School grants participants access to a downloadable resource library with details on Autoplay Video, campaign and content optimization tips, research, case studies and platform best practices.

Differentiate yourself in the marketplace

Recognition matters. Individuals who finish Twitter Flight School each year will get a badge that can be added to their email signatures and/or LinkedIn profile in recognition of completion of coursework.

Twitter Flight School can easily integrate into agencies’ new hire programs, and also serve as a go-to resource for continued learning to help their teams stay ahead. It will also be available soon in a variety of languages, including Arabic, Bahasa, Mandarin and Korean, for Twitter’s partners around the globe.

Here’s what some agency partners are saying about the benefits of the new experience:

“It’s more visual and easier to access, with more real-life case studies and testimonials. The customized learning tracks have been finely-tuned to even more closely align with the needs of different levels within an agency.”
