UK-based tech agency April Six launches in Singapore

April Six, an ad agency specialising in technology clients, has opened an office in Singapore.

The UK-headquartered network says it is the first agency in APAC to offer a specialist service for tech firms with a global footprint.

The firm, which also has an office in the US, says that until now technology companies in Asia have had the choice of niche local technology specialists, or large global generalists servicing a range of sectors. April Six will “disrupt” the market by providing the best of both worlds, the agency said in a press release.

April Six will be run by Brad Harris as Asia MD. Harris was formerly at digital performance agency OOm and a sales manager at DMG Events, the organiser of Ad:tech.



He will be supported by the team at Splash Interactive, the Singapore-based digital marketing services agency acquired by April Six’s parent company, The Mission Marketing Group a year ago.

Fiona Shepherd, CEO of April Six, said the Singapore launch is final part of a plan to create a “truly unique worldwide offering that combines the benefits of specialist technology marketing experience at both the local and global level.”

“There is a huge opportunity to demonstrate that technology businesses in this part of the world no longer have to compromise if they want powerful marketing campaigns that deliver an outstanding return on investment,” she said.

“Today, technology clients don’t have a choice. If agencies have a global footprint they don’t have a focus on technology. If they do focus on technology, they cannot leverage experience from around the world. When we launch, we will be unique in Singapore and we will offer a brand new option which offers experts in their sector, their region and the delivery of real ROI.”
