Dentsu Aegis Network has named new leadership in Taiwan, with Ann Yang moving on after an eight-year stint as CEO.

Coming in to replace her is Isao Miyauchi, a long-time Dentsu executive who started his career with the Japanese advertising giant in the 1980s. He moves from Japan, where he was MD of Dentsu Aegis Network, to take on the role.

Yang plans to explore opportunities to help NGOs with her marketing and communications experience.

Rob Hughes, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network North Asia said, “Ann is a well-known industry figure and brings deep knowledge of the business to our clients with a uniquely personal touch. She has provided excellent leadership both prior to the formation of Dentsu Aegis Network and throughout the integration over the last 24 months and we wish her well.”

He added: “Taiwan is one of our largest and most diversified operations in Asia Pacific and it is an indication of our management strength across the region that we are able to provide continuity of leadership from within the network. I have been working with Miyauchi-san for some time and I am very confident that he will be able to accelerate our momentum in Taiwan and extend our market leadership.”

In a long career with Dentsu, Miyauchi moved from Japan to Shanghai in 2008 to become VP of Beijing Dentsu Advertising, before taking on the role of CEO of Beijing Oriental Rihai. He moves back to Japan and a role at DAN in 2013.
