Anthony Wong replaces Tim Broadbent as Ogilvy’s global head of effectiveness
Ogilvy has named Hong Kong-based Anthony Wong as a replacement for Tim Broadbent as global director of effectiveness.
Wong, who has been with Ogilvy since 2006, will continue in his job as global client leader for TeamHW, the special unit devoted to its Huawei client, as well as perform the effectiveness role.
The job involves championing effectiveness culture across the network.
Miles Young, O&M’s Global Chairman and CEO said in a statement: “Earlier this year we mourned the death of Tim Broadbent who had held this position since 2009. I feel in my heart that no one would be more pleased than Tim by Anthony’s elevation. Tim taught Anthony all he could about everything he knew, and he is the perfect example of the type of intelligent and thinking leader we need in our business.”
Broadbent passed away in July of this year after a battle with cancer.
