Prantik Mazumdar, managing partner of Singapore-based digital marketing agency Happy Marketer, has been among the 50 Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders at the World Marketing Congress 2015 in Mumbai.

The announcement:

On 27 November, The World Marketing Congress 2015 in Mumbai brought together over 500 marketers from around Asia Pacific to celebrate the region’s best marketing leaders and their accomplishments from the past year. The event, which was themed “If not now, then when?” was chaired by Mr. Nand Kishore Badami, Chief Marketing Officer of CISCO India and supported by CMO Asia.

This year, Prantik Mazumdar, Managing Partner of Happy Marketer was honored as one of the “50 Most Influential Global Marketing Leaders.” With this win, Mazumdar joins an elite class of marketing leaders from the world’s leading organizations. Some of the other notable recipients from Singapore include Sam Ahmed, SVP Head of Marketing Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa at MasterCard and Anne Phey, Marketing Director at IBM Systems Asia Pacific.

The winners were selected based on a combination of marketing competencies, strategic perspective, track record, integrity, ethics, and their commitment to sustainability.

Upon receiving the award, Mazumdar said, “It is a great honor to receive this global recognition and I am thankful to the organizers for their vote of confidence. It was nice to be one of the three recipients representing Singapore at the event. In many ways, it validates the innovative and cutting-edge digital marketing work that is being done at Happy Marketer.
