Introducing Ogilvy Cheer
For an agency that has always been rather good at thinking of ways to make more money through diversified services, there is an initial whiff of plausibility about Ogilvy Cheer, a new division introduced in this festive video the agency has just uploaded to YouTube.
“Laughter isn’t reaching its decibel potential,” we are told in a video that begins with an appearance from Christopher Graves, who will be familiar to many in the region from his time running Ogilvy PR in Asia.
“Smiles are fewer.”
But happily Ogilvy has a strategic data-driven solution to the happiness deficit, “and this one is the game changer,” explains Robert Mathias, CEO of Ogilvy PR North America.
Crucially, Ogilvy Cheer is to roll out worldwide, so it won’t too long before Ogilvy PR’s Asian offices will be in a similar state of hilarity.
How ironic that a company with such low morale would launch such a ‘service’
